Farra has emerged as a leading manufacturer for all stainless requirements with a dedicated stainless operation serviced by high technology welding equipment, backed up with guillotines, presses, knuckling and flanging machines and a wide range of grinding and polishing equipment. Farra produces high-quality products ready for installation, including storage tanks and silos that hold some of New Zealand’s most well-known dairy, wine and beer brands.

With easy access to Farra's sheetmetal components workshop, the Stainless team can provide a full solution for clients without having to outsource. Projects span across a wide range of industries including, dairy, storage tanks, mini-breweries, manufacturing and plant process designs.

Our workshop is dedicated to stainless, serviced by high technology welding equipment, backed up with guillotines, a slanging machine and a wide range of grinding and polishing equipment to cater for both light and heavy fabrication. Consequently, we can handle fabrication from 22ga sheet up to 20mm plate.

Expertise spans the fabrication and installation of:

  • Fabrications for the dairy industry made to both British and Australian standards
  • Micro-breweries and wine tanks for the beverage industry
  • Kitchen and general fit-outs for the maritime industry  
  • Processing and conveyor belt handling systems for food

We pride our staff in being as capable in the field as they are in the workshop. We help maintain a range of local and national industries such as dairy, meat processing, food and beverage manufacturing.
