Great Work Everyone!
From tomorrow (Wednesday 8th September), all of New Zealand except the Auckland region will be in Delta Alert level 2. This means:
- Our office staff will be back working in the office abiding by COVID Health and Safety measures.
- Our offices will still be remaining closed to customers.
- If you do need an in person visit please call 0800 1 FARRA or email farra@farra.co.nz and our team will be able to organise this with you. You will be required to sign in, wear a face mask and to abide by our COVID Health & Safety measures. Staff that will be interacting will you will also be wearing a face mask.
- As always if you are unwell and planning a visit to our offices, get in contact with us to reschedule your appointment and stay at home.

Great News Team!
As of Wednesday 1st September we will be in Alert Level 3. This means our office will still be closed to customers but our workshop teams will be following COVID safety guidelines and will be able to get back into the workshop.
Even though we cannot see customers at this time we still look forward to working with you on your projects.
Tuesday 24th August 2021
Further update regarding the current New Zealand lockdown.
All of NZ is still at Alert Level 4 with only essential services operating. As such Farra will be remaining closed until 11:59pm on Friday 27th August. Further updates will be given on this date as to whether level 4 will continue.
Staff that can are still working from home so get in contact to get your project started with a design or a quote!

Hi Everyone.
Following tonight’s announcement and New Zealand’s move to Alert Level 4 our Farra offices will be closed from 11:59pm tonight for three days. We will keep you updated with any changes that may occur.
Staff that are able to will continue working from home, and if you need help to get in touch with a team member feel free to send us a message.

Another Alert Level Change!
We are back to Level 1, thank you all for your support during these alert level changes.
As always with level 1 our Dunedin and Christchurch branches are open for customers.

- Hand sanitizer is available at the entry to our offices.
- Keep track of where you have been. Our Farra offices have contact tracing QR Codes set up.

Back at Level 2 again.
As per the New Zealand Government's latest announce on Saturday 27th February 2021, the South Island is back at Alert Level Two. Farra will continue to operating as normal while adhering to increased COVID safety measures. Our increased safety measures include:
- Staff social distancing
- Increased cleaning and sanitising
Our doors remain open to customers however if you are feeling unwell please stay at home.
Customer social distancing will be maintained and contact tracing will be enforced with utilisation of the contact tracing QR codes and sign in register.

With New Zealand now at Alert Level 2 our Office Staff have returned to working in our offices with the appropriate health and safety and social distancing measures in place.
Our office remains closed to customers however, please get in touch with the team if you have a project you want to get started.

Everyone’s commitment to staying in their own bubble is allowing the New Zealand lock-down to be lifted.
With NZ moving into Level 3 next week, our team are preparing. Office staff will stay working from home but from Tuesday 28th April our workshop teams (with enhanced distancing and health and safety procedures) will be able to return to work.

Following the announcement of the New Zealand Government to move the nation's response Level to Alert 4, Farra Engineering in Dunedin and Christchurch will be doing our bit to flatten the curve. Our staff will be encouraged to stay at home and our doors will be closed until the government allows them to reopen.
During the lockdown we will have some staff working from home and will still be able to complete quotes and estimates for any future engineering projects you may have. Please send your project information to farra@farra.co.nz.
